Agreement and license
By downloading or using Gestalt, you agree to these operational terms and the Apple Standard EULA. If a mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights continue to apply.
Product purpose
Gestalt helps you review digital wellbeing evidence and configure Focus windows, routines, reminders, and app-pause selections. You are responsible for choosing settings and durations that fit your needs.
Gestalt is not medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety, or mental-health advice. Do not use it as the only way to prevent access to emergency services, important apps, or time-sensitive communication.
Apple services and permissions
Gestalt depends on Apple frameworks, permissions, and services, including Screen Time, Family Controls, Managed Settings, notifications, MetricKit, and StoreKit. Availability and returned information may differ by device, region, account, operating-system version, authorization state, and Apple service status.
App-pause controls are a wellbeing aid, not a security boundary. Operating-system behavior, stale authorization, device restarts, or user-controlled settings can affect enforcement.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, restoration, Ask to Buy, and subscription management through your App Store account. The price, billing period, introductory offer, renewal terms, and eligibility shown by StoreKit at purchase time are authoritative.
Purchasing does not create Screen Time authorization or guarantee a particular measured-history depth. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings.
Your responsibilities
- Use Gestalt lawfully and in accordance with Apple’s platform rules.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the app, its integrity checks, or another person’s device or permissions.
- Keep any protected export and its separate recovery key secure.
- Review app-pause selections before starting a Focus session, especially when access to an app may be important.
Availability and changes
Gestalt is designed to degrade safely, but no feature is guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every region. A capability may become unavailable when Apple authorization or eligibility changes.
Features may be changed, repaired, or removed in a later signed app update. Gestalt has no remotely mutable production kill switch; a post-release behavior change normally requires a new signed build or an Apple-controlled entitlement or service-state change.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits statutory warranties, refund rights, privacy rights, or other consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Apple’s Standard EULA contains the applicable license, warranty, liability, export-control, and governing-law provisions for the App Store license.
Changes and questions
Material revisions will be published here with a new effective date and version. Continued use after an effective revision means the revised operational terms apply, subject to any consent or notice required by law.
